My Time at Taylor Farm
The sun peeked over bright and early, casting its golden rays across the sprawling fields of Taylor Farm. Mama got going with her chores, feeding the chickens and milking the cows. The aroma of fresh-baked pancakes wafted from the kitchen window, making my tummy rumble. After a hearty breakfast, I check here joined Papa in the fields to help with the weeding. It was hard work, but the sunshine felt good on my face.
We took a break for lunch under the shade of a large oak tree, sharing stories and laughter. Afternoons at Taylor Farm are always filled with adventure. One day we might be building a fort. The next, we could be helping Mama in the garden. As evening approached, we gathered around the campfire, singing old folk songs under the twinkling stars.
